Set on 3,000 acres about 30 minutes from central Tucson, the four-pearl White Stallion Ranch is an all-inclusive, family-oriented dude ranch with western flavor and resort-like perks.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, it also brought a need for contactless solutions as well as staffing shortages worldwide. The team at White Stallion Ranch was looking for ways to make their guests feel safer while also easing the burden on their staff. They needed a solution that allowed their guests to have a contactless check-in.

Alice, White Stallion Ranch General Manager, initially reached out to OpenKey because she wanted a touch-free solution for her guests. She soon realized all the other benefits Digital Key offered. “Digital key has proven very popular among our guests and has significantly reduced the number of lost key cards, security and late night phone calls about guest lockouts. We’re always looking at investing in ways to keep up with our guests wants and needs. OpenKey has helped us to do adapt to the post-covid consumer,” said Alice.
OpenKey was able to work with Alice and her team to upgrade their existing ASSA Abbloy locks to make them Digital Key ready with our BLE Upgrade Module.
“The modules were easy to install and have been very reliable. The training process for our front desk staff was also really straight forward and easy to complete,” said Alice. Thanks to OpenKey the White Stallion Resort has increased their operational efficiencies and guest satisfaction has gone way up!
